Marbling day today. First time doing full sheets and organising the logistics of 935×610

Had the pleasure of attending the Victor Harbor Artisan market on Saturday. It was a lovely day under the canopy of a beautiful Moreten Bay Fig. Now selling Pocket books, Notebooks and sheets of hand made marbled paper.

Getting the right dimensions for the flap was the tricky part. Probably should have spent more time measuring! The magnetic connection is still not quite there. They seem to lose their strength when all glued together.

Working on a follow up to Metamorphosis. Poetry book we did way back in 2020. Looking forward to showing pictures at a suitable time! Currently on the labour intensive editing stage. Version 6 at this point.

Two very different font’s that elicit very different reactions. I’m thinking Gothic Vs Art Deco. In this instance I believe the Gothic will win the day. Which suits the topic of the book perfectly.

Version 2 of something we’re working on. It’s rather unassuming at the moment. Making ‘it’ with some left over Lime-green buckram and lined with some misc card from my Off-set printing days.
